The Beauty Of The Beast
There's a clear sky up there and though it waits here in slumber
It's now scarring another town's day
There's a thorn in a rose bush lies below in it's number
And it's waiting to draw your life blood away
There's an oceon out there, a blue, so quiet, so tranquil
But a subordinate to the wind
Then a whispered order and a storm fierce and vengeful
Takes another lost soul with a Devil-like grin
There's a view of a landscape of shimmering beauty
Summer showers with life with it's stare
But when winter breathes over it changes it's duty
And your life would be lost with a cold, dark despair
There's a dream, there's a vision and a man who believes it
It's the drive that controls all he'll do
But there's time that revolves round and contorts to destroy it
And all dreams negate and all hope falls straight through
